Frequently Asked Questions

Age Requirements
Persons occupying a condominium at The Myrtle Beach Resort must include an occupant who is at least 23.

Bed Sizes
All units have one queen size bed and one queen sleeper. In addition, some studios and one bedrooms have bunk beds for small children. All two bedroom units have a queen bed in one room and twin beds (2) in the other.

Bike Weeks
The popularity of The Myrtle Beach Resort during bike weeks has necessitated the implementation of a few policies created to accommodate our guests more comfortably.
1. Trailer size is limited to 18 feet. Should you be utilizing a larger trailer, please make arrangements for off-site parking.
2. Recreational vehicles and commercial trucks and busses can no longer be accommodated.
3. Recreational vehicles are defined as pull behind or self-propelled campers that provide living space. There's simply no room during these busy weeks.
4. A commercial truck is defined as anything other than the standard sport utility vehicle or pickup truck whose primary usage is transporting passengers.
5. Busses include any vehicle that provides seating for more than eight or whose utility is more closely related to a self propelled vehicle with living space.
6. Day passes will be available from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM at $10.00 per pass. Overnight guest passes will not be available.
7. Parking charges for each motorcycle and each trailer is $10.00.

Cancellation Policy
IN THE EVENT OF CANCELLATION, refund of your deposit will be made except for the $30 reservation fee, providing notice of cancellation is received 30 days or more in advance of your confirmed arrival date. If the cancellation occurs within 30 days of your arrival date, your deposit will be forfeited.

Check-In/Check-out Time
check-in time is 4 PM; check-out time is 10 AM.

Check Policy
Personal checks are accepted for your deposit or payment in full providing they reach our office two weeks prior to your arrival. The balance of your account, due at check-in, should be paid with cash, travelers checks, or certified funds. Should you wish to pay your balance with a personal check when you arrive, it will be electronically authorized and a 2% charge will be added for this expense. Persons wishing to use a VISA or MasterCard will be charged an additional 5% to cover our expense.

Cleaning Costs
Our condominiums are "housekeeping" units and do not receive daily maid service unless requested. Departure cleaning is $50 for a one bedroom, $60 for a two bedroom and $70 for a 3 bedroom unit. Daily maid service is available for an additional charge.

Deposit Policy
In order to secure your reservation, we require a deposit equal to 1/2 of the total charges plus a non-refundable $30.00 processing fee. The remaining charges must be paid 30 days prior to your arrival date. Reservations made within 30 days of arrival must be paid in full at the time the reservation is made.

Furnishings
Every condominium is privately owned and therefore individually furnished to the owner's taste. All are equipped with central air and heat, CATV, vacuum cleaner, microwave, toaster, blender, and coffee maker. Also provided are kitchen utensils, dining ware, and cookware.

Linen Package
Condos are provided with linen and towels, for $50 per stay (3BRs are $70). A linen package consists of sheets and pillow cases for all the beds including the queen sleeper couch. It also includes 8 bath towels, 6 wash cloths, 4 hand towels, 2 bath mats, 1 dish towel and 1 dish cloth.

Occupancy Limits
All two bedroom units accommodate six persons. Although some studios and one bedroom units have sleeping accommodations for six, we recommend an occupancy limit of 6 persons.

Pet Policy
The Homeowners Association does not permit pets of any type beyond the security gate. There are kennels available in Myrtle Beach should you wish to bring your pet.

Telephone Service
All units have one telephone and their own number. Local calls are free and long distance calls must be made collect or with a telephone credit card.
